Pictures of Shower of Stoles Displayed During AWAB Worship

Stoles representing Baptists from across North America, denied ordination or the ability to server were displayed in Richmond. Part of the Shower of Stoles project began in the Presbyterian church, the project now includes stoles across the rainbow of denominations. For those who do not follow a liturgical style, the ability to be part of the project has been widened to include towels. Yes, towels. Baptists have baptism in common and that generally involved the use of a towel at some point. Stoles usually contain messages or a card briefly explaining the circumstances that lead to the inclusion of the stole. For more information, www.showerofstoles.org.
